cFocus Software is seeking an Operations Manager to join our program in Washington, DC. This position requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph. 
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 
  • DoD 8570 Level II - Security+CE
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 12+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, in lieu of a degree additional years of specific experience will be accepted.
  • 5+ years of technical team lead experience.
  • Candidate must possess (or be capable of acquiring within 30 days) DOD 8570 certification at least IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ and Windows Server 2016 CE).
  • Experience researching, testing, and implementing DISA STIGs, applying security patches, using, and applying Group Policies (GPOs) and local security policies, and remediating vulnerabilities per compliance requirements and deadlines.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills.

Duties:

  • Responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals who are sitting at three physically diverse locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Leads, directs and reviews the work of the team who are independent on their assignments.
  • Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports as well as time-and-material subcontractors operating in a blended subcontractor team.
  • Duties may include updating to new systems, as well as support on current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patches.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining system documentation to include diagrams, configuration details, admin guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for laptop and desktop imaging process including infrastructure to support this activity.
  • Duties may include updating to next gen technology, managing legacy systems, and coordination with multi-functional team support to ensure a high-quality product for customers.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track task and project performance of the direct reports, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Works to influence project leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
  • Utilizes expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles, and concepts.
